1.Renal failure is associated with severe conjunctival injection. Tears are alkaline and the general acidosis of renal failure causes an intense inflammatory conjunctival reaction.
2.The Kayser–Fleischer ring (Wilson’s disease) is one of a very few pathognomonic signs in medicine. Most often it is a golden-brown ring inside the limbus of the cornea that may form a complete circle or just a crescen at the upper and lower margins. It is difficult to see in dark eyes. Slitlamp evaluation reveals copper deposition in Desçemet’s membrane. Afte treatment with penicillamine it becomes a dull mottled brown.
